Product Design | Mobile App | 2026
A lightweight payments & bills tracker designed for people who juggle many bills across different areas and need to log transactions in seconds — without turning budgeting into a "big project".
My role: Product Designer (UX/UI, flows, IA, interaction design)
Platform: Android-first (Material Design 3), than iOS
Scope: MVP + Phase 1
Key focus: speed, clarity, minimal friction
Core metric to optimise: time-to-add an entry (target: ~10 seconds or less)
Most budgeting apps assume people want analytics, goals, charts, and long setup.
But for users with many repeated payments (utilities, subscriptions, rent, services), the real pain is simpler:
Payli is built to make logging and tracking payments effortless, especially recurring ones.
Design an MVP that helps users:
Primary users: people with many monthly bills and cross-area payments (home, family, work, side projects).
Common scenarios:
Payli helps users capture income and expenses in seconds, group payments by projects, and track recurring bills with clear statuses (due, scheduled, paid, overdue). With everything in one place, the user can instantly see what needs attention and stay in control—without heavy budgeting or complex setup.
Payli is designed for freelancers, solo founders, and anyone juggling multiple payments across personal life and work. It's especially useful for people who earn or spend in different currencies, helping the user keep every income, expense, and recurring bill in one place—so nothing gets missed, even when life and money move between countries.
